Merrick Binch Estate Agents was set up in 2009 by Claire Merrick and Trevor Binch at a time when most estate agents were closing their doors and making staff redundant.

This is what the team had to say about why they set up Merrick Binch in the middle of a very difficult housing market:

‘Even though the housing market was going through an extremely difficult and turbulent period, I knew I had something different to offer the vendors and landlords of Coventry. Having been in the estate agency business from the mid 90s, I could see most estate agents were still doing the same out of date practices and expecting a different result. This is the very definition of insanity. Our first strategy was to give completely honest and transparent advice about the housing market. Coupled with really improving the way properties were presented and marketed to potential buyers. We are now the market leader for sales and lettings in Coventry for a single office company.’

We have consistently outperformed our rivals with sales agreed and completed properties.

We have also achieved a higher percentage of asking prices compared to all our competition.

Merrick Binch is the number one single performing branch across the city.

As part of our core values we have also given a huge amount back to the City through various local charity events and organisations.

Since our doors opened we have raised over £100,000 for charities and good causes.

We have also been the proud sponsors of Coventry United men’s and ladies football team for the last 2 years.
